YOU’RE MORE THAN ENOUGH

Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.
Deuteronomy18:13 AKJV

In an era of selfness, we demand the elusiveness of perfection in ourselves and others; disallowing that we are made perfect only with the LORD our God.

Perfect is the most coveted state of being and people will go to almost any length in pursuit of it. Yet, we still feel we are never enough.

The market creates and meets the demands of consumers. If you weren’t born with it, you can buy it…topical treatments promising a flawless glow…temporary and permanent feature enhancers, body alterations…and on and on. Got an issue these methods won’t cure…well there are filter apps for that. 

Perfection cannot be made or bought. It cannot be achieved with enhancers, alterations, or filters. These may create the outward appearance of perfection- for a time – but the lost, broken soul is still crying out “you are not enough” as perfection seekers run to the next trending potion, procedure, and promise of eternal beauty and youth.

Perfection seekers repeatedly run back to the world that screams, “you are not good enough, you are not rich enough, you are not young enough, you are not beautiful enough, you are not handsome enough” to measure themselves only to discover they fall short. World perfection is a moving target that can never be achieved.

Do not measure your self worth by the broken world’s standards. The world will destroy every thread of your self value and confidence so it can promise restoration and profit from your insecurities.

In this world you will never be good enough because if you knew you were perfectly created, and that God is creator of all perfection, the market demand they have spent decades and millions of dollars fabricating would suffer a tremendous loss.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well.
Psalm 139:14 AKJV

If you ever feel you do not measure up, that you just are not good enough – know that you are more than enough. You were created from perfection, with perfection, and by perfection.

Confidence does not come from the external world. Confidence comes from within. Confidence comes from knowing who you are and knowing you are God’s creation.

Never look at a broken world to heal your broken heart. It does not possess the ability nor power to restore you. 

God created you to be perfect through Christ Jesus. If you do not know Jesus, right where you are, reach out to Him and ask Him to come into your heart and forgive your sins, heal your brokenness, and restore you.

Only God heals and perfects the broken souls.  Christ Jesus is the only way to Salvation and Eternal life.

For by one offering He hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Hebrews 10:14 AKJV
