Spread the love

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man take them out of My hand.
John 10:27-28

Life will always change. Life is meant to change. Life, by definition, means to continue to grow, to reproduce, and participate in functional activity. When life stops changing it become stagnant and begins to die. Life is filled with continual change, proceeding death.

Change for you could be in your personal life, or your business life, or your relationships with others, or your walk with God. Change, even good change, can trigger both positive and the negative emotions. It can seem scary and overwhelming. The keys are to make the right changes and go in the right directions and reap the right results.

How can we possibly succeed? As comforting as it is to discuss things with those around us- hoping to get the input that will agree with us or give us courage or the push needed for us to do something – to attain real knowledge, clarity, and guidance we go to the source….God.

Stop asking other people to tell you what to do. As much as others may care about you they are human and fallible. Take your struggle to God in prayer and with Faith filled expectation.

Whatever the struggle of your change – take it to the Cross. God will always answer you. Typically, He will reveal ONLY as much as we need to know at a specific time. This may seem unfair but it keeps us from becoming overwhelmed and ensures that we continue to walk by Faith. We will always get an answer if we will listen. Sometimes we choose to ignore God because we do not like His answer to our request.

Finally, be sensitive to whether or not God wants you to share with others what He has revealed to you. At times we can be so excited that we tell everything He has revealed to us and find out later that it has in some way hindered the progress of our blessing.

Ask that God give you the wisdom, courage, and strength to accept and to take action upon His answer.

When we trust God – we allow Him to lead us.
