Spread the love

Today, choose to forgive everyone that you have anything against, including your enemy’s, no matter how seemingly insignificant or impossible it may appear at first. No matter how much they have hurt you.
Forgiveness is one of the strongest links in the chain of sin.
We must forgive and ask forgiveness for our sins.
Consider this:

To forgive another person does not mean that they are held unaccountable, if applicable, to both God and the law. It does not mean that you will be in an ongoing relationship with this person.
If the sin of being unforgiving resides within us, upon self, assessment, we will often find other sins of the heart are also present. As realization of one sin, in general, he reveals another sin we need to address.
The person we refuse to forgive, in many cases, is unaware or uncaring that we are consumed or imprisoned by the sin of our unforgiving heart toward them for what they have done to us.
If we refuse to forgive another person’s trespasses, then God will not forgive us.
If we refuse to forgive another person trespasses then they, as well as we, remain unforgiven.
When we refuse to forgive others, the sin is not only between them and us, but it also resides between us and God.

Forgiveness is not always an easy said and done action, it is a process. Sometimes we must forgive, repeatedly, until the choice to forgive becomes real forgiveness in our hearts.
Forgiveness is a free gift. Forgivenesses cannot be bought, bartered, or stolen. Forgiveness is not achieved with eloquent words or expensive gifts, but when it is freely given because of a real change within our heart.

Forgiveness should never be held back from anyone including ourselves.
Forgive and pray for your enemies. When we pray for our enemies and They are saved through Christ, then they are no longer a lost soul. If our enemies of this world are saved they become a brother or sister in Christ. This means that we are both set free of the sin of unforgiving. It means that if the sinner is saved that they will live their life building up the kingdom rather than tearing it down as the had done previously. They will no longer be hurting us or anyone else.

Forgiveness is freeing. Jesus forgave those that sinned against Him, in this world, before ascending to Heaven. At His crucifixion Jesus said, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do…”
Ultimately, our purpose is to share the gospel to the lost, so that they can be forgiven for their sins, receive Salvation through Christ Jesus, and eternal life…forgiveness is a key element to this purpose.

24.Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

44.But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45.that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46.For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47.And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48.Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
