BE DOING: Where does it come from and what does it mean?

1 Chronicles 22:16 (read 1 Chronicles 22:10-26 for context) says – Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, there is no number. Arise therefore, and be doing, and the LORD be with thee.

David had wanted to build a house for the LORD, but God tells him that Solomon, David’s son, will build God’s house. David loved God so much and it was such a passion in his heart to build God’s house that instead of  dropping the subject, once God had told him Solomon would be the chosen one to build the house of God, he made preparations in abundance for what Solomon would need to build the house of God. David tells Solomon what he has prepared and tells him to add more to that and to “ARISE THEREFORE, AND BE DOING” 

A heart that Loves must have compassion. Compassion is HEART in motion.

It is my prayer and my goal to prepare and provide, in abundance, the Word of God so that you can begin your own Christian walk and you will  add more biblical knowledge to what you glean here on Believers Tablet.
