Peace is certainly something I have always cherished. Peace in life, peace in relationships, peace in the world around me.

I feel so blessed for even the momentary glimpses of true peace. This is why I have never desired to stir up strife or create chaos when calm is possible.

When we are going through unpleasant or stressful situation, when we are sad and our hearts are broken, when we feel oppressed or trapped by our circumstances, we began to question where our peace is and how we will have the strength to see it through.

It is in the midst of these situations and circumstances, that the doubt, the hurt, the pain, the anguish, the stress, and the feeling of helplessness mount and can overwhelm us.

Peace is not found in the externals of life, peace is not found in our relationships, peace is not found in the world around us.

God is the only source of peace. 
We must seek Him and cling to the source of ALL strength and ALL peace.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:13 AKJV

We must access and renew our faith in God. We must seek His grace and His mercy. We must accept His love, His strength, and His peace. He puts peace and hope and joy within us and they remain within us as we live out life, experience relationships, and reside in this world.

Spend time in prayer and reading His Holy Word. Scriptures remind us of what a mighty and loving God we serve.
