OUR INHERITANCE
We are promised salvation and eternal life, and told that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.
Place your trust in the Lord, it is never in vain, for the promises of God are truth and He is faithful to perform all that He has spoken.
By faith in Christ we are justified and by God’s grace we receive salvation. We are sealed with His Holy Spirit of promise as the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption.
This is huge and exciting Because, if you are a child of God, you have experienced His saving Grace
The Holy Spirit of promise is what God places in us, or gives to us, as the earnest -or deposit- of the promises of our inheritance that He has made regarding redemption and eternal life.
As a child of God, at some point in your journey, you have truly experienced the overwhelming presence of the Holy Spirit.
God’s Word of promise is enough. But, He has given His Holy Spirit to us as an earnest, a deposit, a sign, a pledge, a gift – something so spiritually tangible that we will trust in Him and have faith that we will receive His complete promise, according to His Word.
This day – accept Christ and the Word of God. Receive Salvation, Eternal Life, and the Promises of God.
His Word says…
that we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ.
in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the Word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,
which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.
Ephesians 1:12-14 AKJV
