WHAT .... FAITH

WHAT...FAITH

WHAT…..FAITH
Faith, we hear a lot about faith, why is it important? Read all of the scriptures listed here and you will find out as they will speak for themselves.
It is a wonderful thing that we need such little faith, as a grain of mustard seed, in order to activate and receive so many God given blessing in our lives. Faith is one of the most important elements of salvation and walking the Christian life.
Matthew 17:20 KJV tells us…
“And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall be removed; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
We MUST have faith: Faith enables us to be filled with hope, enables us to come to God, enables to receive wisdom, enables us to pray with assurance, enables us to become wise, enables us to stand strong, enables us to possess the fruits of the Spirit, enables us to live a Christian life, enables us to walk victoriously through the unknown, enables us to have power and dominion in our lives, enables us to know the love of Christ, enables us to turn from sin and walk in life with endurance, enables us to become a child of God, enables to receive Christ, enables Christ to dwell in our hearts, and enables us to be saved through Christ.
Do you have an abundance of faith? Do you have just a little bit of faith – perhaps as a grain of mustard seed? I. f not, then the first step is to ask God for wisdom and an abundance of faith and to help your unbelief. Wisdom comes through asking God and the study of His Word and faith by the hearing -or reading- of God’s Word. (see Timothy 3:14, 15 and James 1:5, 6)
These are scriptures of faith that will help you to understand the importance of faith why it is important and how to increase your faith.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; end it shall be given to him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and tossed.
James 1:5, 6
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17 KJV
… He that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him:
Rooted and built up in Him, and stablishedin the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with Thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:6, 7
For by grace are ye are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:…
Ephesians 2:8
Four ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:26
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
And that from a child thou hast to known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make the wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:14, 15
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
1 Corinthians 6:13
… The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22, 23
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.
Galatians 2:20
(For we walk by faith, not by sight: )
1 Corinthians 5:7
And Jesus answering say get them to them, “Have faith in God.
For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Mark 11:22, 23
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, and ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Ephesians 13: 17-19
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:1, 2
I pray that these scriptures will lead you to a deeper relationship with Christ Jesus, increase your wisdom, and strengthen your faith.
GOD LOVES YOU !!!
